I just watched the movie and in reading reviews they mention as "bloodbath" at the end of the book. What happened!

1. Blood bath?

Have read the book and seen the movie and don't remember any blood bath, except in a kind of spiritual sense.

Great book and movie.

2. All the reviews said was "bloodbath" I didn't know if the game

was even worse than depicted in the movie or if more players got fired.

3. I read it. There is a massacre at the end of the book.

Two significant characters are murdered. The bloody scene is described in detail. It's a surprise plot twist that comes at the very end of the book. Also, it makes a point about racial intolerance and bigotry. It's a little over the top but it reinforces the book's hypocrisy theme.

4. I had no idea about that

The movie is, IMHO, one of the greatest sports movies of all time.
