4. Cool!!!!!!...

I saw them years ago in AK. Was at Ft Wainwright for training and got to see them. Also watched my spit, as well as my pee freeze before it hit the snow. It was -62F. At that point, windchill didn't matter.

Hope I get to see the Aurora tonight!

5. everytime the auroral activity gets up to a 10 on NOAA's charts

we have cloud cover. Tonight it is snowing like it means business here too. :grr:

Normally, I love the snow and we sure need the wet, but man, I am sorry to be missing the show out there tonight.

Jokin...I rememebre one new years...we were all gassed and lying on the grass..SUddenly one of us saw the lights....was a neat way to spend new years...another time driving down a loggin road at night...just a huge greeen blob hanging over the sky. - love the lights
