Baby Robins - day 2

I posted a shot of this nest yesterday, when there was still an unhatched egg in the nest. Now, all three are hatched and, hopefully, healthy. This nest is 3 feet off the ground and directly outside my front door. I'll post occasional updates when things get interesting.

I can't wait to see their development as the spring progresses. You realize that you're going to have to quit your job in anticipation of the time they fledge so you can be there to photograph it and we can all share the joyous event?

4. I hired a Pinkerton

Not really. I'm keeping an eye on them and the cats won't be getting walkies for a while. They should be alright. I have 6.5 acres, so, all told, I have hundreds of active birds nests. This one is just so freakishly viewable. I certainly HOPE things work out okay.
