But those stats are very useful in combating child abuse and treating the effects of it.

The rest of the book is devoted to helping you prevent any of this from ever happening to your own child.

I couldn't get through the first chapter without breaking down in tears.

But it's better to be warned and have your heart broken a little than to be oblivious and have your heart broken to pieces. You will know how to better protect your child now.
