Decapitated rabbit - "natural" or human?
I saw a decapped rabbit in one of my neighbors yard with the head about a foot away. Everything was intact looking, and I didn't really see any blood anywhere, but I didn't look closely either - does this sound like the work of an animal or a neighborhood kid? I can't think of why an animal would do that and just leave it.

That was pretty sad - I'd hate to be the guy with it in his yard (hope he doesn't have young kids).

Any "unpatriotic" lawn signs there mayhaps?

2. Not that I recall.
I don't remember seeing any signs at all there during the elections, and the rabbit was very recent.

I had a cat that would bring me jackrabbit heads. I guess since she was about half the size of a full grown jackrabbit, the head was easier to carry.

4. Natural
I have 2 Jack Russell Terriers. One day they found a warren of rabbits, including the mother and maybe 4-5 baby rabbits. There were limbs and heads everywhere, but almost no blood. My guess is that a dog or cat got the rabbit.

Sorry you had to see that.

6. well
having had cats my whole whole life, I have seen my share of decapitated rodents

But if it was clean and there was no blood---probably a sicko. Jeffery Dahmer and many other serial killers got their start mutilating animals
