It's almost midnight and it's still 75 degrees out, but a muggy nasty 75 at that... the AC isn't working so well, either. Boy do I get cranky when I'm overheated.

has no AC, not even a window unit.

But it is on a lake, so I live with it.

2. We were promised big thunderstorms

We didn't get them. I feel cheated.

And I want pie, but there's no pie here. And it's too late and I'm too lazy to go to the market.

And I've been bidding up stuff on eBay all day, stuff I don't want, just to annoy the other bidders.

This is called "being in a mood."
