The air is dead
I'm waiting for a repairman for the central air to get his butt over here and fix it. The blower isn't working. Of course, we are looking at a high in the mid 90's w/ the always lovely humidity not even added to the misery yet.
Missouri sucks in the summer.

1. Ewww. Always goes at the worst times, doesn't it?
Then again, the only time you would realize it's broken is when you need it. Duh...

3. It worked last week but decided to die yesterday.
Thank goodness I'm staying w/ my parents right now. I couldn't afford to fix that.

7. Really sucks.
I used to live in Marshall-not too far from the riverbottoms. And I once lived in Waverly during the flood season-now that is a hell w/in itself.
At least Warrensburg isn't as bad as the others. We just like tornadoes and we have recently discovered the joy of earthquakes.

8. Turned my a/c on yesterday and.........
it was making all kinds of loud offensive noise. Its Murphy's Law a/c never works right on hot humid days. My neighbor up the street happened by and after determining the fan was striking the shroud we decided to figure out a quick fix. Its a 35000 BTU in the wall but slid out like butter. We finally found that by putting in a new screw on a brace we could stop the noise. So last night I was comfortable. It now 82 degrees at 10 am and I just turned it back on. Should be a cooker today.

9. Supposed to be mid 90's here.
And Missouri is well known for its humidity. Of course, the repairman will not be here until after his lunchbreak.

10. of course a lunch break and a little sestia....
last night here in upstate NY it was 94% humidity. We had some heavy thunderstorms and high winds, cooled things down for a little bit. My last looks at the forcast shows the same all week. I hope the weekend is cool cause I have to go into the blacktop jungle NY City for a 2 day event. My once or thrice a yr trip.
