22. salivating
Thanks to a DUer's thread on Friday night I bought one ( 1 ) tomato plant (it's so hard to buy just one) and organic soil .... because I love a fresh picked tomato sandwich with Hellman's mayo.

... now I'll begin the long wait for hot summer days followed by cool August nights to ripen the vegetables for a perfect afternoon treat.

I'm sure I'll snag a few green ones to fry ... oops my Southern is showing

my face lit up! I bought some porkchops, too. I'm not sure yet whether I'll fry up some of those or just do tomatoes. :)

14. My Mom's are the best!
I don't know where she learned to cook them (she's not your typical southern woman where cooking's concerned), but they are sooooo yummy!

31. I love catsup with them, but I'm thinking of Marie Rose Sauce...
Mix catsup, salad dressing, lemon juice, a dash of Worchestershire Sauce, and a dash of Tabasco sauce. It's great with fries, onion rings, shrimp, fish, or as a salad dressing. I'm salivating in anticipation. :)

They're hard to get here in Ohio but I had them while the Prophet was living in Georgia. We had lunch in Warm Springs at a really tiny diner - oh my they were good! :9
