4. July 16th.
Thank you, I will mark my calendar.

And the 17th is a Sunday!

I bet if I go out and get it at midnight Saturday I can have it finished before work on Monday. But maybe I'd rather string it out... hmm.......

5. At B&N, we're having the party on the night of Friday, July 15th...
Edited on Tue Jun-07-05 04:49 PM by Richardo
...and they'll go on sale at 12:01 AM July 16th (one minute after midnight Friday/Saturday.)

Make plans accordingly - remember B&N is a 100% blue company. :)

all us 30something drunks waiting in line with all these kids to get our Harry fix - great fun!

8. do we need to pre order our copy? I can't think of a nicer way
to make my first purchase at our new B&N here in FW. I made a few deep discount purchases at the Bookstop across the street that is closing and renewed my dormant Barnes&Noble discount membership.

All the Bookstop staff are going across the street to the B&N to work and all the staff from the B Dalton that was in the mall and closed in January who wanted to stay were given jobs at Bookstop or other B&N stores in the area. I liked that.

9. we pre-ordered last time from Amazon
and it was really cool to get it delivered that day. So we did the same thing this year for the new book. It's so exciting! I think the husband and I are more excited than our kid!

10. Pre-ordering is a good idea.
You'll get the promotional pricing of $17.99 (40% off) plus with that membership card an incremental discount, which means your price will be $16.19 (10% off the discounted price).

Plus you know there will be a copy there for you.

And you don't have to pay in advance if you're going to pick it up at the store.

Geez, I'm a B&N commercial today... :eyes:
