Paul McCartney's Wife Gives Birth to Girl
Paul McCartney's wife Heather Mills has given birth to a girl, the couple said Thursday.

Beatrice, the couple's first child, was born Tuesday at a London hospital and weighed 7 pounds, her parents said in a statement.

"She is a little beauty. We couldn't be prouder," the 61-year-old former Beatle McCartney and Mills, 35, said, adding that they were "ecstatic."

A spokeswoman for the Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth said Beatrice Milly McCartney was born three weeks premature and delivered by Caesarean section.

Congrats Paul & Heather!

1. Glad they have finally identified the sex.
Earlier newspaper reports said it was a boy

11. Hey, they actually made it to 'til-death-do-us-part.'
No mean feat. Paul and Linda had a good life together. She is gone now (may she rest in peace) and he is entitled to live.

4. news reports say it's a boy
and he's a incredibly wealthy little bugger, right off the bat. In fact, he's probably the richest kid in England! His eveil fashion-designer half-sister Stella HATES the brat with all her might, so that means Donatella Versace won't be using the young man for any of her Vanity Fair ads anytime soon.

5. ooops!
Correction: now the news sites are saying it's a female baby. Early they called the child "Beatle Boy." Stella's knives are still out; Madonna needs to intervene.

6. They never said it was a boy
Tabloids with quotes from "friends" said it. Never believe what you read in the Brit press.

8. No offense...
But the thought of rich old guys fathering their next family go-around make me want to spew.

There are enough rich kids, and has anyone thought that ol' Pauly will be 77 on his child's 16 birthday? Hopefully he won't get winded on his way to the table for birthday cake.

61 year old parents? Please.

9. You're not the only one
Glad the kid is healthy, but come on, there is something wrong with a guy who wants to be a father at 61. And the age difference between husband and wife bothers me also.

16. I know......GUARANTEEING that your kid will be fatherless
They really think that MONEY is all a child needs for opportunity, don't they?

12. Rembere the 62 year old couple who had a kid with some sort of
fertility procedure--she lied about how old she actually was.

Everyone was appalled.

Not so with Paul--he's a celebrity, and whatever he does is just wonderful!

13. Who gives a rats ass.
Seriously? Who cares? :boring:

Sorry, I prefer to celebrate my friends who have given birth, I couldn't care less about McCartney, his royal title or his gold digging trophy wife.

14. His gold digging trophy wife?
You mean the one with the amputated leg who worked tirelessly on landmine issues? Oh yeah, real gold-digging trophy wife there.

Although having kids at Paul's age is questionable, at least the kid will have a mom who isn't 80 when the kid gets out of high school. It's their business, and the kid will obviously never want for anything in her life.

Personally, I think anyone over 40 who has a baby is nuts. But that's just my opinion. They have the right to do what they want with their life, as long as the kids are taken care of.

Or maybe it's just the rich, titled types.

19. the sort of thing that makes you want to punch Lauren Hutton....
RIGHT in her perfect 60+ year old FACE. Or make all of the stitches in Cher's plastic surgery unravel all at once.

Ew. That was gross.
