4. There is some method of figuring out where you are in D.C.
The numbered streets, the lettered streets and the "State" streets all form some kind of weird grid and if you know the equation you can figure out where you are in D.C. by using it. Unfortunately I don't know it.

Numbered streets go east to west
Lettered ones go north to south
States go diagonal

7. Is there some kind of reason behind the placement of the "state" streets?
Like the ones that go from the capitol are all the original thirteen colonies or something.

9. my 'hometown'. DC is a great town
you can step out of a strip joint, look north up the street, and see the WH. only in america!
