20 games over .500! Unfortunately, you're probably right. I'm not sure the Sox will choke so much as the Twins will continue winning and the Sox will come back down to earth. BTW the Sox last won a WS in 1917. But I'm sure you knew that already. I think the greatest compliment the Sox can pay the Twins is that they tried to structure otheir team like the Twins. They even went out and picked up Pierzynski. He's a great pickup. I don't know what the rap is on him. Decent bat, and damned good catcher.

4. Pierzynski is a bit of a head case

Seems to out of his way to antagonize people. Good catcher though Twins traded him for Nathan I think (good trade), to make room for Mauer.

Actually I think both the Twins and Sox will get into the playoffs this year. One as the wild card. Yankees suck (thank God), and Boston, Baltimore and Toronto will kill each other. The Twins and the White Sox can spend the year beatin up on the Indians, Tigers, and Royals!!!

Last year the Sox folded like a cheap suit. Especially after Torii Hunter bowled over our catcher and no one on our team retaliated. What a bunch of pussies. fortunately we got rid of the problems. Here's to a great baseball season! Cheers.
