Ever make yourself a drink and it's stronger than you think?

I worked this evening and I haven't had a drink for a couple weeks, so I said, "You know what, I'll have a vodka and tonic." Now, I'm tipsy from just that one. Why do I have to be such a lightweight?

I'm too sleepy. I have to go to bed now. :cry:

3. Not if it is my hands but I use to go to a lot of catered company parties

and the drinks there would be VERY strong. It was not until years later that I found out that those catering companies made their money by the amount of liquor that was consumed by the guests so making those drinks with loads of alcohol was in their own interest.

I should explain

We have these really cool blue glass chicken egg cups at home 3 off them
equal a triple so it's easy to pace yourself especially on "date night"

Mainly on a hot summers day, when I haven't been eating (good me) or drinking water (bad me), and I have a gin & tonic (which I usually make getting on for 50-50) it can hit me pretty quickly.

9. I had a pretty strong Jack and Diet Coke once

It was a little heavy on the Jack and a little light on the Diet Coke. I was drunk for the entire night.
