Mostly black kids. Washington Post did a write-up on it. Very garish decorations. I knew when I read the article that another "I am Christ" sacrilege type photo would emerge.

What a creep.

Edited: I found the link:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A38007-2003Oct29?language=printer

Quote: Bush received a boisterous and enthusiastic welcome from hundreds of students, most of whom were black. Introduced by his friend Tony Evans, the senior pastor, Bush spoke with banners of the cross over each shoulder, one saying "King of Kings" and the other "Lord of Lords."

He is the Anti-Christ.

8. Jesus ordered the background from the WH signmakers!
The same signmakers who made the "Mission Accomplished" banner that the sailors ordered for the victory Sock Op on the USS Abe Lincoln!

10. Me and Jesus gonna git Satan dead or alive! Bring em on!
(I actually used this on a different forum with the halo photo, but figured I'd repeat it here.)

That background looks like something a cult would use rather than a church!

11. Looks like a burning cross to me
A little photoshop work would spruce this right up. A nice conic white hat (dunce labeling optional) for lil'Georgie and some flames on that cross...

Last one. Actually, it's only the two hands together that symbolize the phrase in the subject line (the right hand only is "turning the wheel of Dharma") but I just couldn't resist.

Could also by the Gesture of Debate, says this site (http://www.buddhanet.net/mudras.htm). Or maybe the chimp just doesn't know how to make an OK sign.

Dude is certainly covering all his religions, isn't he?

16. "But then I thought, Why stop at Christ? Hell, he had to do all the work

and his Our Father and all got to sit around and get the credit. Besides, I don't know if I could stand three days on the cross, or whatever. I mean, didn't he get any time off to sleep at night? So, geez, the decision is easy. Just apply to be God. Why not? Who the hell's to stop me? Huh?!?!?!?!"

Yet leave the skies of day far too soon,
But other CAPTIONS follow in their flight
To leaven evening and confound the night!
