Office space

I work at a college and my employer moved us out of the library building 2 years ago to rennovate the place (we've been in the student dorms). We're moving back at the end of the month.

Today we get to go and look at our new space.

I'm a little miffed about the space because, being a grunt secretary, I won't have a window. The conference room (which will probably only be used for up to 3 hours at a time) has windows.

Faculty can't be without light for a couple of hours, but grunt staff has to sit without natural light all day long.

I've been here 18 years.

I guess I know what that's worth to this place.

sorry, you're title & post made me think of the movie 'Office Space.'

seriously, I would be mad too. I was an adjunct for awhile and I shared a windowless office with 5 people so I feel your pain.

I'm ready to quit and go wash dishes. you should see the hateful and totally undeserved email we just got-in ALL CAPS. And I run out of money 3-5 days after getting paid EVERY MONTH.
