Name this easier quote:
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance.

7. e.e. cummings is my first thought, without looking ahead or cheating with
google! am I right? I guess I will find out after I post and read the rest of the thread. Thanks for the hints, dear! I am up WAY past bedtime...320am, if you can believe that. :-(

I did a paper on ee cummings in college, it got me an A. It was the poem (la or something like that. I loved it then, haven't read it in years. thanks for the warm fuzzy memory, even if I am wrong.

8. A tad ironic there
Your username begins with a lower-case letter, but when talking about e.e. cummings you use a capital letter in your signature.

I'm sure that I could read lots of very questionable things into such an act.

9. And you are just being amusing
but I did seriously think that one through before I did it.
It's possible to read lots of questionable things into my acts.
Why, in fact, do I always end my sig with a full stop? Huh?

Khash.
