1. I've sported a beard nonstop since 1977.
only exception for cancer surgery. grew it back immediately.

better question: why do you want to know?

2. No way!!!
That's something for bald man! The college flashback stuff with a thick beard and three hears combed over their immense bald spot.

10. I have a beard
and ain't hardly bald! I wouldn't be without it, or at least a largish goatee.

17. Yeah, it seems I'm in a minorty here
Still going to shave though. Sometimes a two day stubble, but that's about it.

6. When I shave my hair close to my head...
then I sometimes grow a really short 30-something beard. It's never been Jack Johnson big though.

7. Bearded here
I hate shaving with a passion. My face turns beet red & feels like it's on fire the whole day. I've tried all sorts of after shave, pre-shave lotion, electric & blades - nothing works.

But that "temporary" phase gets to its 2nd or 3rd day and I just can't take it anymore!

16. Once
but it was scraggly looking, and I can't grow a Mustache. (Genetics). Finally, it itched like a SOB.

That being said, I do grow a nice start on a beard after a week of vacation :)

19. No - don't think it would work with my face
or persona for that matter.

The most I've got was last time I was ill and went for 48 hours without shaving :scared:

I have thick dark hair, and get a terrible 5 o'clock shadow though.

22. You're getting very close to the offer I can't refuse
My face would vanish - utterly vanish - under this mound of dark hair.

25. After I quit workin for the man I stop shaving
But every once in a while I cut it off. Usually last about a week or so.

Now I just trim it to stubble every week.

26. Yes.
I don't have much of a chin, so the fur makes up for it.
And I cut all my hair off once. My kids didn't recognize me and demanded I grow it again.

28. I routinely grow one for a month or two, then cut it off
Gives my skin a break from shaving, but after a while it starts looking ratty and it's too much work to keep trimming it.
