17. Got me, but since Patriot Act, we cannot get the cheese we like.
Importers all say the same thing: unavailable due to the US Patriot Act and Dept Of Homeland Security. Dunno if it's a French thing or if Wingers are just afraid of anything more interesting that Cheeze Whiz, but Havocdad's favorite triple cream French bleu is no longer allowed into the former land of the free home of the brave.

Used to get it from a nice little shop in Vancover BC. Now, nobody can get it to us.

Very odd. We could get good cheese under Clinton! LOL. Guess 9/11 changed everything?

7. Not that it makes the "music" any more listenable, but
He's done a great job with the Festival International de Jazz in Montreal. I think that atones for a lot.

Plus he eventually got a real haircut. :P

and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

10. I had a friend who was a liquor salesman.
After a long working week, he decided to spend the weekend at his cottage in Ontario.

Of course, he forgot about the ten cases of samples he had in the trunk. He crossed with no trouble whatsoever. Both ways.

16. It is very good. But supposedly you can only bring one 6-pack back across.
...so it must be somehow "horrible". Maybe the "horrible" part would be the US cider drinkers realizing they have been ripped off.

They have several other flavors as well, but the Granny Smith is my favorite.
