My first white hair...the horror!
I found my first white hair today, and I'm so bummed out...I'm only 26! I have been under a lot of stress lately, but this is just ridiculous...I guess I can take consolation in the fact that it was white and not grey. I'd much rather "go white" than "go grey", if I had to choose.

Says the balding guy, who just appreciates any hair that remains attached...

;-)

(Edit - added winkin' smiley so she doesn't think I am a smart-ass.)
(Eddit - but I am a smart-ass...)

2. Me too.
I'm 28 and I started getting them about two years ago. However, I've been under a lot of stress for the past three years or so, so I'm not exactly surprised at this....

3. By 26
some people don't have enough hair to worry about.

Relax. It's a sign of maturity.

7. Well grey can give character...the face also tells the character...
smiles alot? frowns alot....intense?? Age adds character to an otherwise blank slate. Good for your grey hair, it may have been too late in coming? :bounce:

9. I found a whole bunch all at once.
After driving back from vacation few years ago. For the first time in years I had gone several days without shaving. As I walked passed a mirror I did a double take because I saw something white all over my face. When I looked close I realized, it was my beard.

I shave every day now.

10. It's not so bad.
I started going grey shortly after graduating high school. Now, at 43, I'm all grey around the hairline. It's not so bad, though. Most people think I frost my hair!

13. Fight them every step of the way!
Damn things, more of them show up on my head every day. (I'm 44.) I'm not ready for silver, so what the hell, I picked a color I liked better than what Mother Nature gave me and screw the grey!

14. I have lots of them at a mere 33. It really bothered me at first, when
I was in my early twenties. Now it doesn't bother me as much as when clerks call me "Ma'am".

16. hahaha, no white hairs for me
My insane mother thought she saw a white hair on my head and plucked it out. It turned out to be a golden highlight, so I lost the only highlight I'd gotten this summer. Thanks, Mom.
