4. Hey, he's the second best ex-president alive now. That's not bad.
Unless you count Gore.

6. Maybe we should stop calling him that
I mean, if Hillary runs, think of what her nickname will become...

8. Don't we all?
I miss having a President worthy of our respect and admiration, and of his place in history.

9. I saw him a month or so ago...
OK, so he was recovering from heart surgery (he looked really good, by the way), but I was less than impressed with his messages, which were awfully centrist -- which, these days, means farther right than I'd like to see any Democrat.

But I, too, miss the days of coherent sound bites, a president who gives real answers to real questions, and not having the fear that we've all somehow warped back to Germany 1933.

10. Glad he looked good.....
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 11:57 PM by Robeson
...the last time I saw him on TV, I honestly thought he was on deaths bed.

The coherency aspect you mentioned can't be overstated. There was coherency, and pragmatism, which was explained with a logic trail. I didn't always agree, but I understood what was being discussed. Now, we aren't even dealing in the "reality" world, as Bush's advisor's have said themselves.

11. Yes, he attempted to educate as well as inform.
The tragedy is that most of America wasn't listening.

12. I love the Big Dawg unconditionally it seems.
Hardly anything he says pisses me off. I always rationalize it away.

:sigh:

13. I miss the Big Dawg AND the democratic Congress.
He really couldn't do his best with Gingrich putting sand in his shorts every time he turned around.
