He has been unemployed for a while too. He usually stays up all night and sleeps mostly while I am at work. On the weekends though, this means that I have to stay up with him or I am lonely most of the morning and early afternoon. He doesn't understand when I get tired if I stayed up too late to be with him. I empathize with you.

33. I have to admit, I woke up at 12:30 pm today

But then, I spent all night dealing with three terriers who hate thunderstorms, and Tropical Storm Arlene decided to grace us with her presence from 1:30 - 5:00 am. The house lit up and the windows rattled. Hubby is swamped at work and need his sleep so I tried to crash on the couch. It didn't work so I watched endless game shows until the thunder let up. Now it's 1 am and I have to try to get to sleep even though I have only been up for 12 hours.

36. My old man (age 47) fell asleep at 8 pm.

He walked into the house at 5, poured himself a drink and went to play poker on the xbox. He stopped playing long enough to eat dinner and then went back to the xbox. He fell asleep in his clothes. He heard the storm last night, but was glad I kept the dogs quiet so he could get his sleep. Somehow, I don't think he will be there for the next storm.
