Bob Evans Restaurants -- Patooey! They are DEAD to Me!

At least the one in Waterford, Michigan on M-59.

They pissed me off royal earlier today, and then added insult to injury when one of the employees decided to get snotty about it (while the manager was standing there yet). I will NEVER set foot in there Ever Again, and I'm still fuming about it ten hours later.

I'm going to call the customer service complaint line on Monday. It probably won't do any good, but I've never been this mad at a restaurant before in my life.

Well, Denny's did tick me off once. We had a party of about twenty people, one of whom was a vegetarian. He asked (very politely) if he could substitute an extra order of toast for the meat (bacon/sausage) on a breakfast scramble order. They insisted "no substitutions" and wanted him to pay something like a buck and a half for the "extra" toast. The entire party got up and left in protest when it became obvious the issue was not going to be resolved in his favor.

Stupid Idiots! And I'm a chronic over tipper, too! Grrr....

1. I went to a Bob Evans restaurant in Festus, Missouri last January.

When I was coming back from New Orleans. It seemed like an OK place. The Eggs Benedict were really good, too.

4. I spent months in the Holiday Inn in Southfield.

There is a Bob Evans' next to it. I ate there once. Only once.

They are vile.

5. I paid for hair in my food today

Well I didn't, my husband did. He didn't want to make a scene in front of other customers. We know the owner so I need to call and complain.

I'm about a 1/4 way through my meal and there's a hair all swirled up in my spanish rice. eeeewww. I quietly called the waiter over and just pointed at it, shit happens after all. I really didn't want to hurt the restaurant. He picks up the plate, unwinds the hair, and then blames it on me!! I told him to get the plate out of there. He took it, didn't return, and charged us full price for lunch! Unbelievable. Grrr.
