as documented in a hazy late night phone call to new york...

all was silent when i first called... the first phone call simply rang 8-10 times... it was promptly followed by a pick up & hang up...

undeterred, i called yet again... this time, the phone was answered after 3 rings... by a JimmyJazz with a very hushed voice... a JimmyJazz that i didn't know... a JimmyJazz that had found god...

i, of course, was anxious to hear about the festivities & debauchery of the nyc gathering...

i was curtly told that the three compadres left the meetup at 7:30pm... they returned to the manhattan abbey where they were staying at 12:30am (wtf? long walk?)...

the alarm in their room was sounding when they returned, as they had broken the enforced 10pm curfew...

the trackers on their chastity belts were also blinking red...

i was told that JimmyJazz was speaking to me on the phone in the dormitory bathroom stall, since calls from men (even of the gay variety) after 8pm were strictly forbidden...

she quickly told me that they would be permitted to leave new york after church today... and that 2 of the 3 compadres were considering a cloistered life... she did not have time to specify which ones, and she quickly killed the phone call with the faint sound of the Mother Superior's approaching footsteps...
