I've worked in a State hospital, done drug rehab and done adolescent treatment. I've heard of the "make people straight treatment" centers. I love that question: that if it is a choice...when did you decide to become straight. I've always been cool about gayness. But, would I want one of my boys to be 'one'. God, what a dangerous choice. What if they got beat-up? Killed? Harassed? Man. I just wouldn't want them to suffer. It just couldn't be easy. I don't think anyone would come 'out' if it wasn't something they just couldn't help.
