Just a quick poem...kind of

Have you ever had someone on your mind?
And you know that the chances are, that they aren’t thinking about you.
A percentage of your mind thinks that things might work out,
But reality tells you that it’s not the truth.

A part of your soul wishes words can be spread
And a thought can be packaged, delivered
You know for yourself that you’re left on your own
Without help, she won’t hear a word.

Alone again, and the past never ends
You think that she might hear my voice
Hope has been lost, because the price is the cost
Once again I haven’t a choice.

I have written a lot of stuff in my life, but this was just off the cuff. It is how I feel right now about someone, but it's not my best work. Just some thoughts.

Yeah, there actually is someone I am thinking of. i don't do it much, but I am today. Who knows? Maybe she is thinking the same.

We had a great time in Rudy's and then going out to dinner. Some of us went downtown afterward and went to a piano bar and then did a little shopping in the village. :D
