There's a thumb-sized spider in my room...

Not real inclined to kill him, but he kinda looks like a brown recluse, and he's crawling along the baseboard near my bed.

On the other hand, the bed's pulled out from the wall a little, and...ah, fuck it. If I don't bother him, I doubt he'll bother me.

Anyone think I'm being real stupid and should grab some Raid?

1. chances are youre right, but...

im slightly arachniphobic. so whenever i see one i have to off it for peace of mind. but i dont like raid, makes the room smell funky... use a shoe and pick it up with toilet paper afterward.

but thats just me.

4. Bad luck to kill spiders in the house ;)

To this day I never kill spiders - they kill all the damn insects who would otherwise eat me during these summer months so they're alright by me. Just put a cup over him and slide an envelope under the cup and toss him outside. He'll be happier and so will you!

I never kill spiders in my house. I let them build condo complexes.

When it gets to be too much, I move them outside, gently.
