Was just finishing off a quick IM conversation with a female manager.

Instead of finishing off with "you got it" ...

It came out due to fat-finger typing as "you go tit" ...

6. I do typos on my smilies all the time....

I often end up sending a :-0 instead of a :-). I call that "an accidental Lewinski."

Quickly call back and apologize? I hope your manager has a sense of humor! But I really expect that she would understand the typo...

I did something similar last night, though not to a manager. I was in a chat when I decided I needed to sign off; several of the other posters were saying good night to me, including one I hadn't had the pleasure of meeting before. He said a couple of gracious things to me and I had typed out an equally gracious response; then I hit the send button--and it was the WRONG ONE. So I signed off w/out responding; I felt AWFUL! No way to get back on...I sent a PM.

It's a BAD feeling! My sympathies...
