17. DC-3? Any skydiving clubs down there?
Skydivers like to jump from the DC-3 because it holds lots of jumpers and they're so old no one else wants them, which makes them cheap to buy. Add in the fact that there are lots of DC-3s in airplane boneyards, and they're cheap to fix.

If it was a DC-3 full of jumpers, there might not be very many fatalities, depending on how high the plane was when it started to go down. If the plane's high enough that your parachute will open, you jump out of it.
