A Challenge to DUers

Fellow DUers,

Have you been disappointed about candidates? Have you been aching to get involved in the political system and not been able to do so? Are you tired of having ideas and having nobody in the system to listen to them? Have you ever wanted to be able to just sit and talk about your ideas with a candidate without having to pay thousands of dollars for the priviledge?

HERE IS YOU OPPORTUNITY!

I met with Charlie Crystle, Dem candidate for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, tonight in Pittsburgh, and I have to tell you it was ENIGHTENING AND EMPOWERING! You need to get behind Charlie. Charlie is a genuine human being with excellent ideas and desire to change things. Charlie is a DUer as well.

Here is my challenge to you, especially the PA contingent.

1) Go to his website http://www.crystleforsenate.com and learn about his positions on the issues.
2) Sign up to meet Charlie. He is busting his tail driving all over Pennsylvania. You should do so. It is FREE!
3) Donate money. Charlie is very principled in who he is taking donations from. We need to support him.
4) GET INVOLVED! This is your chance to be involved in a true grass roots Wellstone-esque campaign!

I have every intention of pushing Charlie in Pittsburgh and would like your help. Meet the challenge! Help a fellow DUer and a great person defeat Arlen Specter in 2004!

3. I've been watching Senate races across the nation

And I think this guy has a chance.

There is the extreme Republican congressman who wants Arlen Specter's Senate seat.

In fact, he's put up a webiste for Arlen Specter faster than Arlen Specter could.

Anyhow, this guy is REALLY right of center. Apparently, the conservatives in Pennsylvania view Specter as a liberal and want him out of the primary. If this right-winger wins the primary and beats Specter, he could be seen as TOO CONSERVATIVE by the populace in Pennsylvania and will vote for the Democratic nominee for Senate, Charlie Crystal.

This is going to be beautiful.
