1975. Our grandmother, otherwise known as Mamaw, sewed the matching outfits for us.



1984, I think? The guy's name is Mike. Agreed to go with him if he knew we would be "just friends." I was nice, eh? But we did become very good friends.



1986? God, I had it bad for him, this is so not a good picture of him. My sleeves make me look as if I am going to fly away at any moment.



Just before prom, yes I am wearing clothes--it's strapless. My dad is making me laugh.

Now, a serious scanner question: Do you leave yours plugged in to your computer all the time, or just when you need to use it? My husband had one, but he claimed that it slowed down his computer a lot when it was plugged in. Long story short, he got rid of it...and I'd like to scan old pics in so everyone can see them.

So how does yours work; are you happy with it? the pictures sure are clear and sharp.

Biggest broken heart of my life--we broke up that night. I'm trying to put on a brave face in that picture (I knew), but he isn't. It was sad. But eh, that's high school.

He contacted me about five years ago, said he was divorced, had a two year old daughter (now seven, I guess), had graduated from Texas Tech and was a programmer (not in that order, LOL!). I chatted with him in a few emails, said I was married and he said "ok well see ya!" real abruptly. Gads. I guess it's obvious what he was trying to find out. The guy in the last picture was by far the better guy. ;-)
