Is anyone else having trouble DLing email from Earthlink?

With this and the increased number of drop outs I've been getting lately, that SBC Yahoo DSL deal looks MIGHTY ATTRACTIVE right now.

They've actually been much better across the board lately (knock on wood!)

I get it through the back door via Verizon DSL and set Eudora to check my Mindspring mail and send outgoing mail through Verizon.

In almost 10 years, I've rarely had problems with Mindspring/Earthlink mail servers, which is one reason I stay with them as a backup ISP. Once in a while, in the wee hours, they do some maintenance and the server connections might take a while.

Dialup is another thing, though, and while I still don't have many problems there, sometimes it gets a little tricky. Some areas tend to have grater outages than others.
