Mesereau: "Jackson won't share bed with boys anymore."

Now free, Jackson ready to make changes
Mesereau says singer will no longer share bed with children

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8213544/

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Basking in the jurors’ decision to acquit his client of all counts, Michael Jackson’s lawyer said Tuesday the singer will no longer share his bed with young boys.

“He’s not going to do that anymore,” attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. told NBC’s “Today.” “He’s not going to make himself vunerable to this anymore.”

Jackson was found not guilty Monday of child molestation, conspiracy and other counts. Jurors said the accusations of a young boy and his family were not credible — a total legal victory that triggered jubilation among the pop star’s fans and embarrassment for the district attorney’s office.

But Mesereau said the singer was still recovering from the ordeal. “He’s going to take it one day at a time. It’s been a terrible, terrible process for him,” Mesereau said Tuesday.

"Michael Jackson and his mother Katherine leave the Santa Barbara County Courthouse after the pop icon was acquitted of all charges Monday in his child molestation trial."

Edited on Tue Jun-14-05 09:09 AM by youspeakmylanguage
Mr. Jackson has realized the error of his ways and will no longer be sharing his bed with young American boys here in America. Their parents and the police ask too many questions. Now in Bangkok...

10. Bingo
Jesse Jackson said Michael felt "a strong spiritual attachment" to Africa.

Does that mean he'll be black again?

Finally, it's getting interesting .........

18. Not all of Africa is black, exclusively
It's rather like a parfait, with dark chocolate, milk chocalate, and a cream on top. Run away, children, run away!

14. Yeah...the alarming part of this...he just doesn't want to get caught.
That seems to be the ONLY motivation.

"...He’s not going to make himself vulnerable to this anymore..."

9. He shouldn't share his LIFE with anymore boys......
...if he IS actually completely innocent and being framed for money...then you'd think he'd have learned his LESSON to not invite these sort of people into his life at all!?!

13. If Jackson is serious about this, he may want to get counselling.
He said in that interview that sharing his bed with boys was perfectly natural. I'm not sure if anyone should strictly take him at his word.

15. He definitely could use some counselling...
...however, since he was found not guilty on all ten counts, this is 100% optional. People can SUGGEST it, but he's under no obligation to listen.

ALL of the pieces are in place for him to repeat his past behavior. I'm not a psychiatrist / psychologist...I can't tell you if yesterday's "victory" will bring about a change or only make him more determined as time goes on.

Rule of thumb: The things in my home that I am not ashamed of are not kept in "locked filing cabinets."

Jackson Jury Sees Nude-Boy Books

Prosecutors in Michael Jackson's child molestation trial on Friday showed jurors two books seized from his bedroom in 1993 that include pictures of nude and swimsuit-clad boys.

Jurors were shown the covers of the two books during questioning of Los Angeles police Detective Rosibel Smith, who found the books in a locked filing cabinet in Jackson's master bedroom. One book, called "Boys Will Be Boys," featured an image of fair-haired boys in swimsuits jumping into water.

The book contained an inscription written by Jackson: "Look at the true spirit of happiness and joy in these boys' faces, this is the spirit of boyhood, a life I've never had and will always dream of. This is the life I want for my children."

The jury also was shown the cover of a book called "The Boy: A Photographic Essay." It also contained an inscription that said: "To Michael from your (heart symbol) fan, XXXOOO, 'Rhonda."' The note was dated 1983. Smith said both books featured boys "playing, swimming, jumping."
