1. Can we stop with the Scientology bashing? It's a religion. |
|
Just like Christianity.

Just like something out of Jim Jones.
Hey, if people want to join some damn brainwashing outfit, they can knock themselves out. Just don't try to shove it down my throat.

11. Cult or not, it doesn't matter |
|
I reserve the right to call bullshit where I see it, whether it be Scientology, Christianity, or whatever other religion or cult you want to throw out there.

5. Let me put it this way. The "religion" is a scam |
|
designed by professionals to extract as much money as possible in a short period of time.
Although Christianity can be accused of this (and is guilty many times over) there are exceptions where some good comes out of it.
Scientology, there is nothing of the sort. Even it's "good" programs are funnels to their psychotic system.
Oh, and they kill people. Just ask the McPherson family.

8. It's not a religion. It's a business. |
|
If McDonalds annointed Ronald McDonald the high grand prophet of french fries, it wouldn't make McDonalds a religion.

9. I don't attack Tom Cruise for the same reasons I don't attack Al Gore. |
|
They're both democrats, and although they both have strange quirks, this should be the party of inclusion. So, enough of the hollywood bashing.

14. Okay, you're a better person than me |
|
Because I'm laughing at somebody who has made a fool out of himself in public by saying ridiculous things like "morphine was named after Adolf Hitler" and "psychiatry is a Nazi Science".
Because I'm laughing at our culture which pays attention to the idiotic twaddle of people like Tom Cruise, and ignores visionary leaders like Al Gore.
Because... oh, hell. You're just a better person. You win.
