I mistakenly answered "yes" when asked by someone who stopped by my store if I'd like to make tons of money. The spiel began. I was given a magazine, I was given a dvd, I was told I MUST attend a conference that just happened to be being held this week. I could get rich part time! Just sell Pre-Paid Legal services to people who desperately need it, but don't know it yet.
I've had others ask me about the same thing. And its not just asking, its high-pressure "you must do this" kinda stuff.
After a little net research on this co., it looks for all the world like some pyramid scheme - where you really make your money by recruiting others to join, and then recruit others, etc, and not so much from selling the service.
One big flashing bs light to me was that while I've been approached about PPL several times, its always to join as a salesperson. No one's every approached me to sell me the service.
Anyway, I had a bad feeling about it (even tho the regular $249 entrance fee had been dropped to $49), and I told the guy who gave me the mag and dvd no thanks. Two weeks ago.
So today he callse again. Nobody he's talked to can believe that I've passed up such an incredible opportunity, and I absolutely must realize how wrong my thinking is and join up today. His cell phone went out at that point.
I'm still not interested, but in the back of my mind I wonder if it really is possible to make a ton of money with them. Anybody have any experience with this group?
