Can I cook baked beans all night?

In a crock pot without them turning to mush?
I said that I would bring baked beans tomarrow for the pot luck at work. I don't really want to get up early to make them. Will this work?

I bought cans. I was planning on adding bacon, brown sugar, onion and ketchup to them.

If they are already cooked, it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to get the add-ons soaked in and distribute the flavor.

My concern with putting them in the crockpot overnight would be that they might get dried out.

I get to work before 6:30 a.m. though so that should be enough time. I think that I will combine everything though tonight and let it sit in the fridge.
A few months ago, I did cook chili overnight. I did have more liquid than I needed though and wanted the meat to soften as well

4. Can you put the ingredients in the crock pot tonight, put the pot in the

fridge, then take it to work tomorrow and plug it in? By lunchtime, they'd be done. I think if you cook it all night, they'll be mush.
