"why do you want to leave your current job?"

i am going to on an interview later this week at the firm where my bf works. he told me they have already asked him why i want to leave the one i work for now. i hate that question. the real reason is that i want more money and less bs. there are some changes going on at my firm that i don't like and will probably end up screwing me somehow. damn.

1. it's a juggler

you don't want to make it seem you're the kind always looking to leave.....how long have you been in your current position? If it's a few years it would be perfectly acceptable to say you are looking for more challenge and opportunity.

5. i have been in my current postion for 4 years and the one before that

for 11. so i don't change jobs easily. it is just that we have had two accountants leave in the last few months and they are dragging their feet about hiring anyone and, since i have been there the longest (now) i keep getting the shit clients and the two "new" (both been there a year) get the easy ones. i have too much work and everyone wants there stuff first and it is really starting to tick me off. i mean, i'm good, but there is a point... :eyes:

9. "Not a good fit"

I would say something like, "I have enjoyed the four years I've worked at ABC Corp., but they have made some recent changes, and my current job isn't a good fit any longer." At this point make a couple comments why the new position matches your career goals.

"Good fit" seems to be the new "think outside the box" buzz phrase.
