I don't understand this entire imbroglio, since elshiva expressed an opinion, which is pretty consistent with that of DU, but backed off because of one personal attacker. Everyone else is in her corner, and she's my friend, so I sure am. And that's another reason I appreciate your support. I also had a good friend who became involved in scientology and ended up killing himself, because they messed up his head. He was 26. I also posted this. So I have a personal reason for supporting what she originally said. I just don't understand why this got so out of hand. But I was also awfully glad to see you. If you're crying then bare in mind one scientific fact: that chemically there are two kinds of tears. One is from physical pain and one is from emotional angst. The type of tears we emit from emotional pain are literally a toxin that it's far better to release than withhold.

One of my greatest role models was a great aunt. She was uber smart but never flaunted it. She just energetically made everyone feet better when she was around them. However she never cried. She ended up with sever glaucoma.

I've another friend who didn't cry for several years and when she finally did, her tears burned her most beauteous face, leaving red lines down her cheeks.

if your experiencing a purge, then it's normal and perhaps healthy. Go with it. You probably did nothing wrong. It's just a purge dear. Be at peace when you get to it.

I have seen numerous instances of scientology-bashing on this board. It's a cult, pure and simple. That's the big reason that Tom Cruise is so unpopular on DU. And I happen to agree with you and I have a better reason than most. A good friend of mine moved to California and fell in with this evil cult. It totally messed up his head. His family got him to come home and talked him into moving in with his sister, who was going through a messy divorce. Told him that she needed his support. But the truth was that they were worried sick about him, rarely left him alone. But one day they did. And when his father rushed to check up on him, he found that my friend had killed himself. He was 26. So I more than agree with you about scientology.:grr:
