Edited to add: They're surprisingly good when fresh and cooked properly. You'd be amazed.

5. If that means your side of the argument is for "brussel" --
then I'm afraid you're wrong.

7. Thanks mom.
:P

I know the dictionary says "brussles", but if I add that 'S' it just sounds wrong to me. No one I know(I don't think so anyway) ever says "brussels sprouts".

8. actually, it is brussels sprouts (with a small "b")
--per the Chicago Manual of Style:

"Nouns, adjectives, and verbs derived from personal, national, or geographical names are often lowercased when used with a specialized meaning" -- and "brussels sprouts" is included in their list of examples, along with arabic numerals, arctic boots, dutch oven, french fries, and india ink.
