I feel fatigued and its only been a week since the clock was turned back...:-(

4. I like cold. I like winter.
I like the silliness of changing the clock.
I like spring. I like warm weather. I like rain. I like snow. I like days of sunshine.

I like real weather in all its forms.

5. I love autumn.
October is my favorite month.

I hate the time change. I like "daylight savings" better. But I'd go with either one, if we could just pick a time and stick to it.

I welcomed our first hint of a chill with relief yesterday; I do better in cool/cold than heat. And here I am in the Mojave Desert. Truly, while everyone else is shivering and rushing around in sweaters and jackets, I'm still in shirtsleeves.

8. On Daylight Savings Time
Miz t.'s Uncle Bert was an 80 year old lifelong bachelor, living alone on a farm in southern Louisiana. We visited him from time to time and always brought lunch for him. Uncle Bert ate lunch at noon, sharp, every day.

One day we were running a little late and really had to bust our butts to make it on time. We pulled into the farmyard exactly at the stroke of noon and hurried up to the house. Miz t. started laying out the food on the kitchen table. Bert said "You don't need to do that yet. Come on in the living room for a while."
??? Wow! Bert has CHANGED his habits? Impossible.

We sat down and chatted for a few minutes. I glanced at the little electric clock on top of the TV set. 11:20.
Bert don't DO Daylight Savings.
Never.
