2. so true... same goes for CB Radio..there is one in every major city piss'n

off truckers with a Boosted transmitter, transmits over 12 or 15 channels, these Aholes ..go off their medication and buy a CB. we are out there trying to get road and traffic information.. instructions to get to drop off sites..in Crack-town.. and REALLY need the radio for work and PERSONAL SAFETY should we get hijacked or have an accident or need help..

4. BTW, thanks to the Truckers.

I've made a lot of long distance driving trips, and I take a CB along to break the monotony. I get a lot of info just lurking on the channels, and have managed to avoid several major backups and speed traps as a result.

It's also made me more aware of trucks, and I watch them closely. I've seen you guys avoid running over countless clueless 4 wheelers in ways many never notice. Your skill with those big beasts often astounds me.

A lot of people complain about truckers, but if they'd get a CB and listen in they'd get the whole picture.

5. ROFL. I remember being a 12-13 yr old girl and us having a CB...

After watching several of the trucker/CB movies, and listening to Convoy, I thought I was hot stuff. :-) I would get on the CB with my "breaker breaker" lingo and try to talk to the truckers. My parents were not thrilled. :-)
