...I've NEVER heard of or seen before. A friend working with a guy (they are teachers) who claimed to fly the B-45.

I said I'd never heard of it!!! (I was AF in the mid-late 70s)

A B-47, I asked...

No, a B-45, it was SECRET. Cold War stuff..

So I go on line to find the AF had 96 of these things in the 50's designed to drop the 'production' model of the first A-Bomb!!!

What a NEAT bit of history!!! I'm supposed to meet this gentleman later this week.

Anyone else out there familiar with this thing???
