But, because my neighbor is a great person, I let it slide. She tells me a lot that she doesn't have a good memory, so I don't make a big thing out of it. I do, however, try to point out any that are hoaxes or just outright lies. You would think she would bookmark snopes and urban legends by now.

2. I have a cousin

who is one of these "roll on the floor and speak in tongues" freaks who sends me crap all the time. Usually I just delete. But, yesterday, I was a little cranky and fired off a reply saying, basically, stop sending me this shit! I tried blocking her email. But it never seems to work.

I used to reply with links to snopes.com but I finally gave up. She gets them from others in her (fundy) church, so she believes them and not the facts I send.

I'm on my way to bed - and I can't post the whole email, cuz it's got pictures. I don't know if you've seen it, but it's "Maxine for President" - you know that old, saucy woman they have on greeting cards?

some of the text (minus the pictures) portion are brilliant comments like:

The rest - not so bad, but it makes my gorge rise every time I see it, simply because that UNDER GOD thing is right at the top. Nothing like alienating 50% (or more) of americans right off the bat!

Okay - I gotta go to BED! This getting ready for vacation bullshit is hard work :( I need a vacation to get AWAY from shit I'm kinda forced to deal with before I leave.... sucks.

BTW - Trisha called me tonight - she didn't get a chance to call you because she left your number at home, then didn't get a chance to call me for your number again.

Funny story - she went OFF on some guy that rode down there with them - he was supposed to kick in gas money, and he didn't at all on the way there - she cornered him before they were left (they were all in the car, ready to go, actually) and confronted him about the money - he said he didn't have any, then laughed - thereby sending Trisha off into a fit of rage. She told him to GET OUT - he wouldn't she started beating on him in the car, yelling at him to get out - he wouldnt, she threw all his shit out on the ground and wailed on him some more. He still wouldn't budge. She went and got security, told them he rode down there with them and was supposed to contribute gas money, he didn't and refused to do so, and she wanted him OUT OF HER CAR. Security removed him from her vehicle, and she drove away - leaving him behind. LOL He apparantly *somehow* found his way back to Michigan. Moral - don't FUCK with Trisha! ;)
