Burrrr...

I feel sorry for the kids tonight. Always hated it when halloween was ruined by nasty weather.

6. Yes!
There's lots to like about Texas. You should visit (not in the summer, though).

12. For those lucky souls in Austin maybe!
For those of us on the Gulf, it can even run into December. I remember Christmas holidays where my mom was running the AC so that she could have a fire! And bless their hearts, I don't think the people of Laredo or Del Rio ever see the mercury dip below 60!

13. I remember swatting mosquitoes in mid-December in Houston.
I was changing my oil and spark-plugs in the driveway, getting ready to travel over Christmas.

I was sweatin' my ass off and swatting mosquitoes away.

It's no way to live, if you wanna call it "living".

8. It's 70 right now in Chicago.
It's gonna be 75 here on Sunday.

So we got yer "one nice thing" and can trump it, easily.

Sorry. But those of you that know me, know that I lived in Houston at one time. Which is why I feel I can justify poking fun at Texas.

That doesn't include Austin, David, which as you know, really isn't in Texas at all. But it is surrounded by it.
