a phoebe built it's nest in an overhang on our back stoop. we've been watching the nest for the past couple of months... wondering if there would be babies or not....
my partner went into a funk when it looked like the mommy phoebe had abandoned the nest... but then she came back
and this morning we saw the mommy feeding babies. I'll try to get some pics later and post them

They are one of my favorite flycatchers. It's cool to watch them kind of hover in mid air and grab up insects.
