Bye Bye DU!

Well guys, its been a good run. I can proudly say Ive been here since the beginning (or something like that) ever since Asshat stole the election in 2000. I remember like it was yesterday...it was my sophomore year in college, ganja was $25 a bag and grades were unimportant. Ive changed a lot since those days. Im a graduate with a degree in Biology, living in China and teaching English. The only thing that hasnt changed is this: Im STILL a rabid Democrat! DU has been my way to stay in touch with the States. I read the LBN every day and cringe every week with the Top 10 Idiots. It has recently dawned on me, however, that DU isnt really helping my life. In fact, I tend to get angry and stay that way every time I read the news. Every time I hear how some pigheaded assholes are wrecking our wonderful country, it makes me want to go on a muderous rampage. It will be hard to do, but for my sanity and low blood-pressure I have to take a timeout. I will miss reading the news but I trust things will go on as normal. If its REALLY important, Ill hear about it anyway. Anway, I leave DU in the capable hands of my 70,000 plus brothers and sisters. KICK SOME ASS in 06 and see you in a few. PEACE!

I am going to the Peter Gabriel clinic to learn how to stretch my mouth wide to let those big words come out. And as a bonus to kiss an entire Commonwealth.

I know how you feel.
I remember the Old,Early Days when my husband talked me in to going to an early DU Meet-up at Dave + Buster's in Philly. Lots has changed. Not for the better,IMHO.
