Feces Pizza Topping Gets Cheerleaders Sent Home From Camp
<snip>

KELLER, Texas -- High school cheerleading is very competitive. But some cheerleaders have gone to great lengths to get back at rival squads.

In Texas, some high school cheerleaders were sent home from cheerleading camp after allegedly putting human feces on a pizza and trying to frame rival cheerleaders for the deed.

Cheerleaders from Fossil Ridge High School in Keller, Texas, had a pizza sent to the Keller High School squad on the last night of a camp at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Less than an hour later, some Keller cheerleaders took the pizza to the Fossil Ridge sponsor, claiming that Fossil Ridge cheerleaders had doctored the pizza with feces.

After more questioning, however, four Keller cheerleaders were sent home.

It is unknown what discipline the girls may face at school.

The day after the pizza prank, other Keller cheerleaders read a letter of apology to the Fossil Ridge squad.

1. Well, girls will be girls....
sorry, I just had to say that. It's the sort of response I've gotten used to seeing when boys pull that kind of a stunt. I never understood why bad behavior was excused away by a statement like "boys will be boys" but I thought I'd give it a try in this instance of girls behaving badly.

(Please note, I'm not trying to offend anyone. I'm just being ironic.)

4. Most of the women I've known have been a lot more scatalogically
oriented than most of the men I've known, FWIW.

They just don't usually like to admit it.

5. You won't get an argument from me on that one.
I always wondered, though, why anyone ever used the expression "boys will be boys" to explain away bad behavior. I've never seen it done w/ girls before, and thought I'd give it a try.

8. Having spent several years as a janitor...
I can attest the claim that men's rooms are dirtier than women's rooms is often catastrophically false, in that regard.

10. Were they this 'type' of cheerleaders?:
http://www.haro-online.com/movies/but_im_a_cheerleader.html

Megan's (Natasha Lyonne, American Pie, Detroit Rock City) family and friends think she is a lesbian. She does not enjoy kissing her boyfriend and has pictures of women in her locker. Worse, she likes tofu and recently became a vegetarian. They send her to True Directions, a rehabilitation center run by Mary (Cathy Moriarty, Hugo Pool, Copland), a domineering woman who dresses her students in pink or blue, depending on their sex. Mike (RuPaul Charles, Crooklyn, The Brady Bunch Movie) is a recovering homosexual who assists Mary. Rehabilitation consists of doing things stereotypically assigned to each sex, such as cleaning, cooking and changing diapers for the girls and football and fixing cars for the guys. Writer/Director Jamie Babbit begins well, showing through absurdity how funny some of these ideas are. The girls in the film are a diverse bunch, but all the guys in the program are effeminate and act like sissies.
