quit. though I don't smoke, almost everyone of my newer friends does and i dont complain and make them stop smoking around me. it's a wierd situation to be in since it seems like when i DID smoke i was forever finding some out of the way place miles upwind so as not to offend..now I don't even meet other non smokers. :P

Whatever you do, don't go picking up a pack of Marlboros. Among the 1400 other carcinogenic additives that Phillip Morris packs into their cigs are a fair number of additives that make the smokes even that much more addictive. Yep, as if the tobacco wasn't enough, they add in other chemicals to keep you hooked.

Hopefully you have the power to stay away cold turkey, but if you don't, go pick yourself up a pack of American Spirits. Yes, I know, they're more expensive than regular cigs, but that in and of itself will be a good discouraging factor. The other thing is that AS doesn't put any additives, including addictive ones, in their cigs.

Good luck, and I hope you kick the habit.
