I just saw this article on the local online news:
Police: Argument Leads To Gunman Shooting 2
Friends"CLEVELAND -- An argument among three
friends ended in one being shot to death and another injured on Cleveland's east side.
Police say the third
friend was the gunman in the Thursday morning incident, and he is still at large, NewsChannel5's Joe Pagonakis reported.
Police said the three
friends were visiting a makeshift apartment unit at a home on Harvard Avenue when an argument broke out around 1 a.m.
Other tenants said they heard gunfire.
Anthony Brown (pictured, below) and Marquis McCalp, both 18, were shot. Brown died at the scene, and McCalp was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Police say their
friend ran from the apartment after the shootings.
Police are still trying to figure out exactly what sparked the argument.
Pagonakis reported that police know who they are looking for, and know the name of the
friend who allegedly pulled the trigger.
They are currently conducting interviews.
Police said they did not find the murder weapon in this case. They also told NewsChannel5 that the argument was not drug-related.
http://www.newsnet5.com/news/4618445/detail.html It's not the story really..it's the way the writer keeps saying "friend" and I was thinking, I don't know if I would consider this guy a "friend".
I don't know, it just struck me as funny in a way. Not the murder, but the use of the word.
I know...boring thread..LOL
