Poll question: What is the highest number of consecutive posts

you've ever gotten to without a reply? I miss the old Friday feral cat vs. feral songbird lounge flame wars when people who've never said a word to you suddenly came out to announce a fatwa on you and what a miserable excuse of a human you are for loving / hating feral cats / feral songbirds, a lot. I'm at 17. This is clearly a demented cry for help.

I have an old anti-aircraft turret mounted to a two ton lazy susan in my back yard and I spend most afternoons in the turret wearing a world war II helmet scanning the airspace over my garden not blinking prepared to blow the living crap out of anything that enters the no fly zone over my toemayters.

I would declare thinwa against disorganized home libraries, but that would involve too much effort. Besides that, my parents still have boxes of my books, maybe even my copy of Dune.

Well, at least now I know why no one replies to my posts - too commercial.

Fully half of my nearly 5000 posts have never received a single reply. Khephra replied to probably 20% of the ones remaining, and then he up and died.


It feels bad, talking to a wall, but better a liberal/progressive wall than...the alternative.

that most people just thunk they replied. I wonder what the "view" vs. post ratio is on most threads. I'll betcha it's something like 10 - 1; that means a lot of people who are voyeurish or too shy to post.
