It's just their advertising slogan that cracks me up.

As to me: my motto is "drink local".

Berliner Pilsner, Kindl, Schultheiss, Engelhardt, Bürgerbräu and Bärenquell are in the competition. :toast:

30. Their pitching has let them down as of late.
And Ron Gardenhire (although I think he's one of the best managers in the league) screwed up quite a few times.

He has such a mind for the offensive game but he simply can NOT figure out how to substitute pitchers and manage his pitching staff. Joe Nathan can NOT be put into a game unless it's a pressure, SAVE situation, period. Terry Mulholland should ONLY pitch when the Twins are already down by 4 runs or more, period. If Juan Rincon walks the first batter he faces, replace him with J.C. BLowmero. I've figured these things out and I'm just a spectator.

Don't fret though. They'll regroup tonight against the Padres, and I smell a Chicago Collapse coming on.

later,

JRG

51. There's lots of good things about Guinness
Only 125 calories - so it's almost a light beer

Low overall alcohol content - so you can have more

Tastes good cold or slightly warm - so you don't have to pound it down

Dark as hell - you always seem to get more "macho" points for drinking what is essentially a light beer (calorie-wise)

Plus, it tastes great!

yes, RR has a unique taste of uncertain origin. not for everyone. but of the cheaper beers, RR and Yuengling beat the hell out of the bud and coors of the world.

73. Its actually not that bad...
once you get used to it. Really helps with the indigestion! I take tums, but I really dont want to eat too many so I resort to the milk when it gets really bad.

84. My 3rd!! He'll be my 2nd son. I cant wait :)
My 4 & 2 yr olds are excited and want the baby to come out NOW!

My 4 yr old asked me how the baby is going to come out.. the only thing I could think of saying that he would understand is that the doctor has to get the baby out.

I was stumped lol :) He was like oh ok! becareful mommy! Some things they ask I dont even have a CLUE on how to answer.

I think he would be beyond mortified if he knew exactly how? Best to stay with the one about the doc getting it, which is not a lie! Well, congrats and good luck!
